The primary function of the Application is to analyze images provided by you.

2. Device Permissions

To provide its core features, the Application requires access to certain features on your mobile device. You can manage these permissions in your device settings at any time.

• Camera Access: The Application requests permission to access your camera. Reason: This is strictly necessary to allow you to capture photos of food or recipes directly within the app for immediate AI analysis. You will not be able to use the app's full functionality if you do not grant this permission.

3. Use of Artificial Intelligence (Google Gemini)

The Application integrates with Google Gemini, a third-party Artificial Intelligence service provided by Google Cloud, to process your images.

Privacy Protection & No Training: We utilize the Paid Tier (Enterprise/Commercial) of the Google Gemini API. Under the terms of this specific agreement:

• No Model Training: Google does not use your data (images, prompts, or outputs) to train their AI models. Your data remains yours.
• Data Retention: Google retains inputs and outputs only for a short period (typically up to 30 days) solely for abuse monitoring and security purposes, after which the data is deleted.

By using the analysis feature, you consent to the secure transfer of your image data to Google's servers for the sole purpose of generating the analysis.

4. Third-Party Data Processors

We share data with third-party vendors only to the extent necessary to run the Application. These third parties are contractually obligated to keep your data confidential.

• Google Cloud (Gemini API): For image processing and AI analysis.
• Google Analytics for Firebase: To analyze how users interact with the app so we can improve the interface.
• Firebase Crashlytics: To collect crash logs to help us fix bugs.

5. Data Security and International Transfer

We value your trust in providing us your information, and we use commercially acceptable means to protect it.

• Encryption: All data transmitted between the Application, our servers, and third-party services (Google Gemini) is encrypted via SSL/TLS (Secure Socket Layer) technology.

The Application is not intended for individuals under the age of 16. The Service Provider does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 16 years of age. If the Service Provider discovers that a child under 16 has provided personal information, we will immediately delete this from our servers.
