Meeting, and reviews
There is no meeting confirmation. Reviews only need messages from both of you.
Get to know each other safely
Get to know each other in the chat, then meet in a public place, or at the family's home with a parent there. Ask for references, check the ID in person and swap phone numbers when you meet.
Carbetic checks identity only and is not part of any agreement between you. Medical decisions stay with the family and its diabetes team. The Safety Center has more tips.
No meeting confirmation
There is no step where you confirm that you met. Anyone in a conversation where both people have written at least one message can review the other person.
Reviews are from people who messaged each other on Carbetic. We don't check whether they met.
You can write one review per person, and a new one replaces your earlier one. Reviews are published at once. Writing and deleting reviews explains how.
If something went wrong
If something serious happened at a meeting, please don't put it in a review. Report it from the chat or the profile. A person reviews every report, normally within 24 hours. You can also write to safety@carbetic.app.
